Lyft Urban Solutions bikeshare system to roll out along Miami-Dade County’s iconic The Underline!

Lyft Urban Solutions is thrilled to announce the launch of a new bikeshare system deployed in the heart of Miami-Dade County, running exclusively along the Underline, a 10-mile public trail that runs beneath the city’s Metrorail line. 

As a global leader in urban mobility,  we’re proud to support a uniquely local initiative that enhances a much-admired civic space. As part of the first phase of deployment, the Underline network features 125 pedal bikes and 10 stations at full deployment. The new solution, operated by Deco Bike Miami LLC and sponsored by Inter, delivers a transportation option that promotes a healthy lifestyle and a low-barrier way to explore what’s quickly becoming the city's growing community engagement driver.

Powered by smart technology, designed for simplicity

The new Inter Bike bikeshare network introduces Lyft Urban Solutions’ industry-leading mobile app to the Miami-area’s mobility ecosystem. This smart technology, a proven, rider-friendly platform that supports other bikeshare systems in cities like Austin, Zaragoza, and Rivas, enables users to easily locate and unlock their bikes, track ride history, and manage other account specifics, all from their smartphone.

The system’s fleet is also designed for simplicity and efficiency. With no-fuss pedal bikes and 10 stations located along The Underline’s public path, the fleet’s vehicles are ideal for residents and tourists alike who are looking to explore local businesses, connect with nearby cultural spaces, and enjoy the gorgeous South Florida sunshine.
